Mr. John Foscolo, Assistant Principal

Mr. Foscolo

Mr. Foscolo is a proud graduate of  the South Plainfield school system. For his Undergraduate education, he attended Rutgers University, where he earned a Degree in History and Political Science, while also competing for the Rutgers University Wrestling Team.

Throughout his career, Mr. Foscolo has taught Social Studies to grades 6 through 12, as well as coached football, cross country, wrestling, and track in both the South Plainfield, and Denville School systems. After earning his M.S. in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton, Mr. Foscolo took the opportunity to work at David Brearley Middle/High School in Kenilworth, NJ, where he served as Assistant Principal. However, when the opportunity presented itself to return to South Plainfield, Mr. Foscolo did not hesitate to jump at the chance to try to return to his hometown to give back to a community that has provided so much for him.

Mr. Foscolo is excited to join Mr. Diehl and his team at South Plainfield High School and is looking forward to continuing his educational mission of exceeding the needs of the staff and students in the school community in providing a safe and effective school community that promotes fairness, tolerance, and high academic standards.
